Congratulations to all the girls who participated in the EDEC girls footy last Thursday. You were wonderful! You were all stars on the day and you went in hard and tried your best. It looked like you were having a lot of fun in the mud and slush and enjoying the opportunity to try something different. It was great to see your confidence building throughout each game and you were certainly getting better as the day progressed. WELL DONE !

Grade 5 have had another wonderful week full of great activities and fun. Everyone participated brilliantly in the Olympic events held at school last Tuesday. It was a busy but fun morning! A big thank you to Mr. Armstrong for organising the morning’s activities.
I could not have been more pleased with the great effort students put in on their J-Rock writing! It was a delight to read about their experiences and everyone really put in a super effort to describe their feelings and the atmosphere surrounding J-Rock. I would encourage parents to read the wonderful work on display in the corridor if they have the opportunity.
A special welcome to Miss Wild, who is visiting us for a couple of weeks. We are delighted to have her helping us in our classroom.
We are now looking forward to our special Literacy & Numeracy week activities beginning on Monday 1st September.
